I switched to verizon through the website due to promotions instead of a store. I got my phone. Activated it. Tried to port my number. I was told I needed a 4 digit PIN or he couldn't help me and I would need to visit a store so they could verify my identity. The store told me I needed the 4 digit PIN. I have no idea what that PIN could be. I dont recall setting it up. They told me as a new customer I would have to wait 31 days before I could change the PIN and change/ port my number. Is that legit?
