Network extender for poor coverage

I need a network extender because there’s such poor coverage around my home. I very rarely get more than one bar. Verizon has a network extender that I can use, but it’s $250. We’ve been with Verizon for 34 years and I shouldn’t have to pay $250 because Verizon has poor coverage in my area.

Customer support told me there was a loyalty department but the phone number she gave me to contact them to plead my case is incorrect.

Has anyone found out the number?

I've heard of other customers in known weak signal areas being able to get a network extender for free. Perhaps you were routed to the incorrect department, or whomever you were speaking with didn't know how to put the order in? Just an FYI, the extenders prefer cable internet, although I've heard of fiber internet customers being able to tweak things to get it to work. If you have satellite or fixed wireless internet, the extenders aren't compatible with those.
