I'm really lost here. Trying to port my number from an AT&T prepaid plan to a Verizon plan. I just spent $150 on a new phone and a monthly plan. I enrolled in auto pay. Spoke with AT&T twice. Both times they told me my phone number is unlocked and available to port. They said all I need is my account number and a security pin, I have both.
Verizon is asking for a number transfer pin. I asked AT&T repeatedly. They said the NTP is simply six zeros (000000), because they have unblocked my number for transfer to Verizon. Yet Verizon is saying they cannot make the transfer. I literally have not been able to sleep. I'm so upset. I keep going in circles with customer service.
Any help would be appreciated beyond words.
