Our service used to be great. Now it's not

Over the last few weeks we have noticed our cell signal is absolutely terrible now when in the past it was great!!! We used to have full signal and now we have 1 bar… forget 5G… I never see that unless I’m in a bigger city.
Quite honestly were thinking of going to another provider. We pay way too much to have such AWFUL service.
I just don’t know what changed?!?!

Have you used the "Check network status" link on the right, under the box "Get help from Verizon" to see if there have been any outages reported in your area? If nothing comes up, then I'm wondering if your account needs to be reprovisioned, or possibly you need a new SIM/eSIM, and/or your carrier settings (if you have an iPhone) need to be updated.

In your case, I recommend "Device signal is unstable".

Both my husband and I have gone from having consistently decent coverage in our area near Boston to having horrific coverage. It's gotten to the point where there are so many dead zones that, when I'm listening to Spotify, it becomes totally unavailable or keeps going in and out. I have 5 phones on my plan and have been with Verizon Wireless for decades. Am I really going to have to switch to T-Mobile? This is not about "outages" - it happens consistently.
