Adding ESPN unlimited changes my bill and removed my discounts

For anyone who rec'd the email for ESPN unlimited & added the service to your acct, even though it stays 0.00 as cost.. itwillremove any discounts on your acct! My bill went from 296 to 348.. for something that should be 0.00. Spent 30 mins on the phone with a CS who tried to undo the changes and restore my acct, but then came back with is a known issue and should befixed by or before next billing cycle. he couldn't make any changes. I'm not sure if anyone else encountered this, but would love to hear. And if it'sa known issue, there shouldbe a disclaimer before one proceeds toadd the service, that it will change things on your plan

I've heard of people on legacy plans getting ads about assorted things, but if you sign up, it will get rid of your old plan and put you on a current one, where your perks will no longer be included in the base cost of the service plan and have additional fees for said perks.

I just saw my new bill and the same thing happened to me. When I added ESPN Unlimited to my account, it said that there would be no change to my billing. It showed me my old bill and my new bill and they were the same. That's what I had expected for signing up for a free service. Now Verizon has removed $40 in discounts from my plan.

#This happened to me as well. I rec'd my latest billing statement on the 15th and my bill rose #$52 dollars, with the only change being the "free' unlimited. It removed my$55 in credits/discounts

I called asap and spoke with 1 rep who tried to reverse the charges but couldn't. After 30 mins , he came back and told me it's a known issue and verizon is working on it . I then called again (bc I realized I didn't get a ticket or case number for my issue,) and don't to another rep who also said the same.. all her calls that morning were about the espn etc and it would take 7-10 business days to resolve. I checked today and looks like my bill if back to normal but will see sheik next month.

So new month, new bill, same problem. My October bill still doesn't have any of my discounts that I had before adding the ESPN Unlimited perk. I don't know how this is ever going to get fixed.

Has anyone else successfully had their credits/discounts added back to their accounts since adding ESPN Unlimited?

This happened to me s well. I added ESPN Unlimited and it took away most if not all of my discounts. My bill jumped up $61 or so dollars. I called about it the first time and a Verizon rep tried to change my plan around to get it back to around what I was paying before. Fine, whatever. I ended up calling back the next day because I was supposed to send in my old router to receive a new one for pick up but the retailer wasn’t accepting and I wanted my equipment shipped instead.

Anyway, the next representative was so awesome. She redid my order with the other rep and was able to send out my new router and Fios+ equipment plus get my bill even lower. She recognized I was a customer of 15 years and I had a grandfathered plan. That if I add anything on the Verizon website, it would change my plan and probably rid of the discounts for some reason. So I will have to call them if I want to make changes to my plan to keep the pricing. It was an annoying experience but glad it worked out eventually.
