Trade In Upgrade

So I upgraded my plan to the Unlimited Ultimate which has the "Ultimate Trade in Perk" I've been a customer for years and have been using the OnePlus 12 for 2 years. I bought it outright and wanted to trade it in for a new phone. For whatever reason they will not accept the OnePlus 12 on trade in. They take the OnePlus 7,8,9, and 10....but for whatever reason not the 11 or 12. So frustrating that I'm eligible and can't upgrade even though the plan I'm on claims it guarantees you the best trade in upgrade.
