I just wasted an hour of my life on a Verizon Fios Chat trying to get information about current plans available to decide if I'm going to keep my TV service and equipment on the Fios platform. At this point I think the answer is "no."
The customer service person named "Sunny" didn't answer my questions and tried to upsell me $30 per month after I told them my bill had just gone up $20. Asked for a manager. Got someone called "Agent" who was completely ineffective, unknowledgeable and evasive.
In the end they wanted to change my service agreement. No way was this person going to get my permission to change my account. I still need information not provided to simple answers. I've printed and saved the chat.
I would like to provide the transcript to customer support and get the answers to just a few simple questions without having to waste another hour on chat which may be for nothing.
To be fair, this is in stark contrast to an amazing customer service person, Shawn, I had two days ago week when I ordered two iPhone 17s, iPads and watches. He was amazing, detailed and thorough.
Maybe someone with Verizon will see this and get in touch!
