I had verizon service for years and always commended how great it was. Pricey but worth it. Recently though, this has been a nightmare. I ordered a phone via online with a trade in of my old phone. That was the end of May, there was a problem with the activation of the device. I went online to troubleshoot but Verizon records showed the phone still in transit. It still shows the device is in transit.
I was sent another phone that would not activate a week later. I finally went in to the local Verizon store to give back the devices but learned that online and store are two separate entities. They couldn't help me send back the phones but did help me activate a new one. I was told that I needed to go online and get in touch with an agent. The store associate was a manager and left notes in my account that I should not be charged for these phone. The agent I spoke to on the phone the first time was super helpful and assured me that a return label was being sent to me via UPS or fedex. No such label was ever sent.
I tried to get in touch again and was told the same information. It is strange that Verizon records show that I have never received this phone yet I'm looking at it right now. I have screen shots of all my online chats when the agent has assured me that my service would not be shut off due to non payment of the $2399 phone buy outs that are on my account. They also say it would be unfair and not right.
My service was shut off today. I can no longer speak with an agent until I make the minimum payment $2100 payment. I scheduled a call-back and the woman has me still on hold after waiting an hour and 16 mins but I wont hang up the call.
This is by far the worst treatment I have ever had with any service provider. I'm very disappointed.
