Porting one line

I have 2 lines and a watch on my account.

I want to port out one line (the one without the watch). Is the rest of my account going to stay up and running? It is connected to my FIOS account where I get a discount and obviously still want the other line to remain up and running.

We're sorry to hear that you plan on porting one line out, but we defintely want to make sure you have all the info you need. Porting our one line wouldn't close off your account, however, you might see change in the price per line if there is one less line on your account. Is the line you're porting out the Account Owner's line? If so, what you need to do is initiate a Transfer of Service process to the person who has the other line and watch so they can become the new Account Owner. Otherwise, there will be a billing problem and the other person will not have full access rights to the account, possibly even getting locked out of the account altogether. The Fios would also have to be transferred to them in order to keep getting the Mobile + Home discount. With one less line on the account, the pricing for the mobile service will go up due to having less lines overall.

If the line you're porting out is NOT the Account Owner's line, then everything for the remaining lines and Fios will be the same, except the mobile service cost for the remaining lines will be higher.
