I just purchased a new unlocked galaxy s25 ultra. When trying to replace my old iphonexr on the same Verizon line, I kept getting errors or it would insist on an ID from a physical SIM which i do not have. Eventually I found the Sim manager part of the settings and when i clicked on add eSIM and tried to scan the QR code, it only says my eSIM is not ready yet and to contact the service provider. At some point during my attempts, it deactivated my old phone without activating the new one. I am now without a functional phone and have been waiting on hold for an hour. Has anyone experienced any similar issues or know how to fix it?
