I bought an iPhone 14 online that showed it was available. The order was placed on September 16th. It was supposed to ship that day and arrive on the 17th as I had paid for next day air service.
After 3 days had passed and the phone hadn’t shipped, we reached out to customer service. We were told repeatedly that it was a delay in the shipping department and that they would expedite it asap.
2 days later that still hadn’t happened. We called customer service again and were told the phone was never in stock and should not have been sold. We were told on the 22nd that the order would canceled. Today is the 25th and the order still shows as waiting to ship on my Verizon account.
Why can’t someone just cancel the order? It’s been 10 days. My wife’s phone that I’m trying to replace is giving her all kinds of issues. We just want to replace it but can’t do anything until this order gets canceled.
We have talked to at least 4 different people and it’s nothing but excuses. I’m closing in on 20 years with Verizon but it looks like it’s time for a change. Completely unacceptable for such a large company.
