My phone is not receiving text verifications for banking or my credit card. Regular text is fine. Just verification and short code for any two factor authentications aren't coming through on my Messges app.
Please advise.

Do you have an iPhone? Check that SMS is enabled in your settings, as short code texts are in the old SMS format. YouTube has numerous videos demonstrating how to do this if you search for "fix not getting short code texts".

What 'Messages' app are you using? And as @vzw_customer_support asked, what type device are you using?
I have a Samsung S22+ Galaxy phone and run Google Messages. Thank you.
