I recently moved to Bristol, RI, and bought Verizon home internet online. The service was unusable. It would turn on and off. When it was on, it would take forever for anything to load. I went to the Verizon store in Orleans, MA, and they said that Verizon did not offer service at my address. I then cancelled Verizon and took the router back to a Verizon store in Seekonk, MA. They charged me $116 for my nonexistent service. Today I got a random Verizon bill for $15.48.
I want a refund of the $116 I felt pressured into paying, and I don't want to receive any more bills from Verizon. My service never even appeared on my account, and nobody I called could provide any help. This was my first month in graduate school, when having internet was really crucial, and in addition to having no service, I wasted hours on the phone and driving around trying to get help.
