Who else is about to jump the Verizon ship because of the removal of loyalty discounts ?
I called and talked to a man named A.J., who was very rude and unhelpful. When I expressed frustration about the removal of my discount, he tried to justify it numerous ways:
1) "Well, they removed a $50 discount i had for my family."
2) When I told him that i got ONE vague email about 'certain discounts' being discontinued, he said, "You should have paid more attention to your Verizon bills."
3) When I told him the offer AT&T gave me... "Well, that's not going to be a guaranteed rate."
4) "They discontinued the loyalty discounts so they could revamp them and bring better savings to our customers." (Makes sense, right? Show appreciation for 16 years of loyalty by charging me MORE.)
