Galaxy S24 plus update

My Galaxy s24 plus just updated this morning and I t was on for not even 5 minutes. It was super hot to touch. Took the phone cover off. No apps were added. I belive it was an os update. My location wasnt on. I restarted my phone. Like I watched a video or two and had to restart again. What gives?

From what I could find elsewhere on the internet, one suggestion to fix the overheating problem is to wipe the cache partition. Here's a Reddit thread where someone posted a link on how to do that:
