I contacted Verizon via chat yesterday to report exposed underground wires in the public right of way in front of my home. This poses a serious tripping hazard for anyone walking by. A technician was dispatched and thought I had reported that I had an on-prem wiring issue (which there wasn't) and closed out my ticket. I would rather give Verizon the opportunity fix this (by properly bury their wiring and repair the area damaged by their exposed wires.)
