We became Verizon Wireless customers when my husband worked for Verizon Wireless as a cellular technician (2003-2007) in Georgia, Florida and Las Vegas. We stayed with Verizon because the network was usually solid. The Merger of Verizon Wireless and Alltel Wireless caused a sharp decline in customer service and network reliability.
Fast forward 2025... Getting customer support of a technical nature is nearly impossible. Waiting on Chats or on the phone, answering a bunch of questions and being told they cannot help you they need to transfer yo. More waiting, answering questions and being transferred again. Cannot seem to get to Verizon's So-Called "Tier Two" tech support.
We might be better off exploring other options for home internet.
