I just had the most horrible experience with verizon. I wasted six hours of my life at the verizon store to transfer phone numbers between my business accounts. The store staff was nothing but kind. But the ordeal that verizon tech support put me through, has made me reconsider ever doing business with verizon again. I spoke to at least ten reps, I was given the run around, told to call multiple different numbers, not allowed to be transferred to certain departments, not allowed to be transferred as an already transferred caller. I was forced to authorize account changes over 30 times. Worst of all; My time was wasted, during a Friday, the busiest day of my week. And I'm angry. This is the final straw. I have been a loyal verizon customer for almost 25 years. I rarely had problems with verizon in the past. But within the past few years, verizon has noticeably fallen in quality. Especially the customer service over the phone. I stuck with verizon out of loyalty. Now I'm no longer loyal to verizon. I am this close to taking all my business somewhere else. In total I spend almost $10,000 a month on verizon through all my businesses and personal accounts. That includes fios, iphone, home and work phones. Convince me to stay.
