TMobile Customers are not receiving my messages in group chats

about 4 weeks ago, my group chat with several people reported not seeing my messages. After some investigating I determined the issue to be that people who used TMobile service all of a sudden stopped receiving my messages in the group chat. I can send them individual messages when RCS is on but they dont get my individual messages when RCS is off and it sends via SMS. I have had multiple calls to no avail and now have a service ticket however I need this solved ASAP or Verizon will be losing a 5 year customer. Please someone in networking reach out. I need to have reliable messaging services and its now been a month of this.

i will add that the people I am having the issue with have a mix of android and iphones and I am an iphone user

IDK why this is sporadically a problem, but it's something with Verizon's SMSC not communicating with Pink Logo Place's SMSC in some parts of the network. If you use RCS format, do all the texts work, either individually or group?

thats correct....when using RCS, my messages go through to them individually and in group chats

I'd just use RCS format then, because the older SMS format dates back to the 2G days and is something which is tacked onto every new generation of wireless technology just because so many people use texting and older phones don't do RCS or other encrypted texts, but if everyone you regularly text doesn't have a problem with RCS, then use the newer tech. Leave SMS enabled, as short code texts still come in SMS format.

that would involve having to recreate all my group chats that send via SMS....unless there is a way to force the phone to send via RCS only even in group chats where it sent via SMS before?

Private messages (PMs or DMs, depending on whom you ask) are here in the forums, under the envelope icon at the top right. If you have a new PM, a number will appear on the envelope. There are several different people using the Vz CS forum account, so whomever you talk to via the PMs may not be the same person who posted in the forums.

If the rep who posted earlier forgot to PM you, you can always PM anyone in the forums by going to their picture in one of their posts and using the "send message" button.
