I had a work phone that I had put on a Verizon wireless plan. Many months ago, I payed the only bill that was available and cancelled the plan. I never heard from Verizon again, never called, texted, emailed, or mailed me anything about me owing any money. Mind you it was a 69$ payment, I would have payed it in a heartbeat if I was made aware. But instead Verizon sent it to the collection agency, without notifying me again. As well as the collection agency has not reached out to me either. I found out about the bill when I got a bad credit report today, it dropped me a little over 30 points. I have called endless different Verizon customer service numbers, I was transferred to 10+ different branches today, wasted hours of my time just to be told they can’t do anything either and they’ll just transfer me to the next department. I wondered how I never knew about or saw the bill in question, then I tried reaching out to customer service and realized, they simply don’t care about you or helping you at all.
