How hard is it upgrade an IPhone? I kept receiving multiple promos that if you upgrade to new device we will pay off your balance.
I went in person to a store location which had the device I needed in stock, they told the wait is around 20 mins, I was happy so wait. 1 hour later and still waiting my app said I was next in line when they started welcoming walk ins over me. I got angry and walked out.
2nd store I went to did not have it in stock but I wanted to order and pick up later when they are shipped to this store. The store person was super nice but said they could only see the promo on 2 out of the 4 I wanted to upgrade so I opened my Verizon app and showed the promo the the rep.
The rep called back office and told them about my situation, waited 2 more hours only to hear the back office person say we can leave a note for executive.
Tried using the chat option to talk to an agent but every agent just kept ending the chats until I got the shift manager they said they will connect me to the sales/promo department only to cut off call again.
out of 8 representatives I talked to today only 2 had the training on how to speak to customers and others were rude or dismissive to the point where they said you can go to T-Mobile it will be faster!!!
I have 5 lines on a personal family account, home phone , home internet and my mother has 7 more lines on a Verizon business account.
I have been a customer for years and have never had a bad experience. But the experience from today has left me disappointed and dissatisfied. If Verizon reps are instructing customers to take business elsewhere that’s what we will do!!
