There's no Verizon gift card as payment method option

I have been having issues from the start & it just continues to cause me problems. I am trying to add a gift card as payment for my autopay & I don't even have the option to click. I only get bank account & credit/debit card options to click. I was previously told by a representative that it could be done. So how exactly am I supposed to add my gift card as payment method when I don't even have the option!? My bill is due soon so I need this resolved asap.

It's probably just that you can't set up autopay using a gift card, because the gift card has a limited balance and can't be reloaded. If you simply enter in a payment method and don't use autopay until the gift card balance runs out, then it would work.

You are correct. After speaking with another representative I was told you can make a manual payment with gift cards, but not set them up for autopay which is why I wasn't getting the option for gift card at all. Once I clicked "pay bill" the option popped up. Seems like a hassle to have to manually pay every month if there's enough funds to do autopay, but better than nothing & the limited balance aspect makes sense. Thank you for your helpful input!

I was experiencing the same issue you are. I set up my account for autopay, but wanted to use my gift card first. I spoke with a very helpful agent who provided me with a link to make a one-time payment using my gift card. I hope your issue is resolved, but if it hasn't, I'd be happy to provide you with the link. Of course, if that is allowed on this forum.
