Had an obsolete plan with verizon for years, been with them for like 18 years. 7 lines on the account, finally decided to upgrade and switch to the individual plans. Got 4 ultimate unlimited with trade in and new phones and 3 ultimate plus with no phone upgrade. I did it with sales over the phone from verizon, not in store. It took literally 4 hours, I spoke with someone in the. loyalty department too and before proceeding we made sure the monthly cost would be similar to what we were already paying. They got it to $10 more per month than my previous billing agreement. It's been one month and im being charged almost $200 more than what we agreed on. I made sure they wrote remarks on the account to list the monthly bill cost. They did that, thankfully. Customer service is now telling me the charges are valid. I was completely deceived. I signed the agreement and got new phones and am being charged much more than what we agreed on and spoke of. What can i do to escalate this further? At this point it's become more about the principle than the money. I've been with them for 18 years, wish I switched to a different carrier instead of upgrading with Verizon.
