For almost the entire month of January now I have had consistently high latency with the Verizon 5G home internet. The actual download and upload speed of the internet is fine, it is the latency that has been causing lots of issues. Today, running a ping to www.google.com gave me an average latency of 1277ms. To ensure that this was indeed a problem on my end and not the google server I also tried pinging other servers like www.microsoft.com with similar results. The router shows full bars on the signal strength and the device testing the ping is connected to the router using ethernet. I have what I believe is the latest router, the WNC-CR200A, and checked for any firmware updates as well (currently running version 3.5.0.9). I have also tried moving the router to different locations with no luck. Any other ideas on how to fix this issue?
