Long time Verizon customer and I received an email advertisement to update my home service so I looked into it. Decided to upgrade to the Gigabit Triple Play which was cheaper than what I was currently paying for my slower service. $158.99/month was what I signed up for on Verizon.com in November 2025 (I have a screen shot) however to my surprise come my next statement with the new plan I was billed $229.80. Contacted customer service and they were less than helpful. First agent I was directed to was wireless sales and was trying to sell me on stuff, informed them I was a current customer and then they ghosted me. 2nd Agent told me the price increase was due to global pressures and what not, I told them I just signed up for my new plan in November of 2025…. then silence. Tried a few more times and same sort of treatment. So now I am here at the forum to see if I can get an sort of assistance via this route.
