Hello Verizon Community,
I’m hoping a Verizon agent can see this and assist me, as I currently have no way to contact support due to a full service suspension.
I previously set up a payment arrangement to pay the full balance. I mistakenly believed the due date was 2/14, but I later realized it was set for 2/4. I completely own that error. However, I received no warning notifications—no text message, email, app alert, or notice indicating my services were at risk for suspension.
I only became aware of the suspension today while at work, initially assuming I was in a low-service area. Since my account is now suspended, I am unable to access chat support, speak to a representative by phone, or make changes to my payment arrangement. I’ve tried every available avenue.
I want to be very clear that I have always had excellent experiences with Verizon customer service, and this is not a complaint about past support. Every agent I’ve spoken with has been professional and helpful. This situation is simply urgent and I currently have no access to assistance.
I am a public school second-grade teacher, and my husband is a sheriff’s officer. We have three children, and having no phone service presents a serious safety and emergency concern. To complicate matters, my school was just dismissed early due to burst pipes and a broken heating system, and we may be transitioning to virtual instruction. Reliable service is critical.
I immediately made a new payment arrangement for the past-due balance, believing it would restore service as it has in the past, but service has not been reinstated. I also cannot modify, cancel, or update the arrangement to include the full balance or adjust the date.
At this point, I am simply asking for
- Temporary restoration of service until 2/13, or
- Direct contact from a Verizon agent who can assist with adjusting the payment arrangement and restoring service.
I am eager to resolve this and remain a Verizon customer. Any help or escalation would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you for your time and understanding.
