Issues paying my bill through the app and online

WHY is it so hard to pay my bill through the app and or online? I do not have a Verizon phone and they never recognize my account number. WHY am I not able to sign in after the initial sign in? I don't understand WHY I was able to sign in here! I've gone through this EVERY MONTH since I signed up for Verizon 5G Home internet service. I'm leaving you
