Verizon is refusing to give me credit for the outage

Anyone else? We were affected by the January 2026 outage and promised a $20 credit. It wasn’t found on my account. I contacted customer service and they cheerfully told me “nope can’t find it” and then proceeded to try and sell me more services. Are certain customers just getting cheated out of this credit?

Hi, sorry to hear about your issue on not getting the outage credit. The outage being referenced in that credit mostly affected the northeastern US, so if you're outside of that part of the country, then the outage you experienced was most likely unrelated.
