Verizon is having an issue where they are disconnecting people from service even if those people are on payment arrangements. And when they disconnect your service, you are 100% barred from speaking to customer service. Don’t believe anywhere it says there are numbers to call because you will ALWAYS be redirected to a message telling you that you are not allowed to speak to customer service until you pay. There are ZERO options beyond going to a Verizon store (or authorized retailer) and having them reach out on your behalf, which is what I had to do to have my service reconnected.
Don’t bother hoping any reps will help here, because all you need to do is look through this forum to see this same issue going unresolved and yet Verizon keeps marking these posts “resolved” when all they’ve done is told you to reach out through social media. I don’t have social and shouldn’t have to set up an account on any other website just to talk to Verizon about THEIR error. Especially when I’m trying to talk to them about THEIR error on THEIR OWN forum!
