Billed after transferring to another provider

I transferred all lines on my account to another service provider on 11/8/25 and paid the remaining balance of one of the devices. Received a bill after that, which made sense because I changed at the end of the billing cycle, and even though I was no longer able to see what I was paying for I paid it.
I am continuing to be billed monthly and have no idea what I’m being billed for or why…

If you can still access your My Verizon account (you will have to use the User ID associated with the account and not the phone number), sign in and cancel the autopay. I'm wondering if some error was made when you ported out where they didn't shut off the autopay.

Auto pay is a no-go for me…. I never use it. I was actually able to get in touch with someone this evening who was absolutely amazing. From start to finish the call was 26 minutes, and best of all no hold time. They didn’t disconnect my tablet, but could see that it had not been used since I left and had it swapped to my new service. They’ve negated all the extra charges.
