I just started using this for the first time ever and my number doesn’t work and my data do not work well and i had restarted my phone and i dont know what i need to do for me to be able to use my phone number?

If you only just joined Verizon and were formerly with a different provider, then what's going on is your port is either stuck in limbo or has failed. Use a different phone and contact Verizon's Porting Department at 888-844-7095, or visit a Verizon store.
