Anyone have an issue with sounding glitchy when you talk on the phone. Not sure if it's a phone issue or a network Verizon issue?
That could be either.
Network:
Verizon offers several different service plans at varying price points. If you're on one of the cheaper ones, then you are subject to increased deprioritization on the towers. When the network is congested, call quality issues (audio cutting in/out, dropped calls) are more likely for those not on the highest tier plans.
Phone:
Hardware issues with your microphone/speakers will cause audio problems. If it's a Verizon variant iPhone, there's troubleshooting available on the website, or use a search engine for "iPhone troubleshooting".
Your carrier settings or other software may need to be updated.
Performing a network reset forces the phone to reconnect to the network because any previous saved network information has been cleared out.
I forgot to add earlier under "Network": If your signal strength is poor (1 bar or field test mode shows -115 to -120 dBm or more), then the signal strength isn't good enough for reliable service because your phone may sometimes disconnect from the network completely due to weak signal.
