My husband and I have been with verizon almost 8 years. I recently left due to my I phone getting broken while moving to another state and I needed a replacement ASAP so I got a cheap straight talk phone until I got moved and settled (it's been 2 weeks). I ordered the phone I wanted and added new line back to my husband's account. My new phone arrived today and I was on the phone for 1 hour and 40 minutes (after visiting the store in person) trying to get my phone number transferred back to Verizon and my new phone activated. After almost 2 hours, my number has not been transferred, my new phone has not been activated and the DEACTIVATED my husband's phone (the account holder) for absolutely no reason at all. That should have never happened as his numver was never the one being messed with. I tried to get it fixed but I was transfer 3 more times and ultimately hung up on as they knew I couldn't call back because it's after hours. Now my husband is without a phone which is necessary for his work!!! Verizon absolutely fumbled this. I was transfered 8 times!!! The ONE person who knew how to fix it was in SALES and unable access what was needed so he t old me what to tell the person he transferred me to, the one who absolutely didn't listen to me at all. I am furious which is minor compared to my husband, who has to take off work in the morning to go to a store to get his phone/account reactivated because someone, or a lot of someone's didn't know what they were doing!!
