If it was a prepaid account and you didn't renew in time, then the plan automatically cancelled and the line is disconnected. I think you'll have to get a new prepaid account, because prepaid accounts are no-contract, so once they're gone, they're gone. You can contact Prepaid CS at 888-294-6804 and request that your number be reactivated with a new prepaid account if it's been less than 45 days since your old account cancelled or visit a store to get set back up. If it's been longer than that, someone at Verizon will have to check if your number is still available, because phone numbers go up for recycling sometime after 45 days.
