Internet availability

I've been with Verizon for about 4 years or so and I've been trying to get home Internet since I became a customer. Now that they absorbed Frontier Id rather have that. It's available in my area because it's been around for a while now but when I put in my specific address it says not available. Anybody have any idea why that would be?

Are you looking on Frontier's website, or the Verizon website? Although Frontier was acquired recently by Verizon, in my own experience elsewhere, whenever a company gets bought, it takes quite a while to integrate things with the buying corporation. So if you're interested in fiber internet from Frontier, I'd look on their website. If Verizon is saying they don't have internet service in your area, it's either because Fios isn't present there, or there is not enough network capacity for the 4G/5G Home Internet service to run well.
