Need to report spam

I keep receiving texts that are a Scam re: Roadside safety kits.

TripleA: Melissa, we're closing the next Roadside Safety Kit requests on March 15th. Secure yours today.

This is bona fide spam, and also appears under State Farm insurance. I took the survey and gave my credit card information for shipping and handling. I never rec’d the roadside assistance kit. My credit card was also subsequently fraudulently charged.

Be careful of State Farm insurance Spam re: Roadside Safety kits. I called State Farm Insurance and they knew nothing about this. Please stop these spammers. It is a means to get your credit card information for shipping and handling, and then the spammers will use it for fraudulent activity. Please stop them Verizon.

Just an FYI - I'd change your username by going to your profile and picking edit profile. Your current username is a privacy and additional spam risk. As for the spam, you can report it by forwarding it to 7726. However, with you giving out personal information to the con artist, I'd suggest you close your credit card account and put a freeze on your credit at the credit bureaus. If you are concerned about identity theft, use a search engine to look up "identity theft recovery". Unfortunately, the crook is likely to put your info for sale on the dark web for other crooks to buy.
