Do you have a tracking number for the package? If it has shipped, then you would need to contact the shipper to figure out if it's simply delayed, or if a delivery person made an attempt to deliver it. If you were not available to sign for the package when someone made a delivery attempt, then it may be caught in limbo somewhere and you would have to make arrangements to have the shipper make another delivery attempt, or see if you can go to a facility to pick up the package.
