Traded in my old brand new condition s23+ for s26ultra.
Can't transfer no verizon esim from old to new phone (locked imei) untill phone will be payoff.After 36 months i probobly will need another new phone and again again.

Moving a SIM card from an old phone to a new one is no longer supported and may even "break" the new phone, even if it is a newer model of the same brand phone. To switch out the device on your line, login to My Verizon and go to activate/switch device. Somewhere in the process it will have you download a new eSIM for the S26U.
As for the phone being locked, that only comes into play if you are wanting to use the phone on some other carrier besides Verizon, in which case the phone does need to be paid off before it will unlock.
