Internet slow or not down loading at all

I went with the wireless internet with Verizon trying to save a little money. At least five days a week it is either very slow or down. Even on clear sunny days. Streaming is so frustrating. I live in a senior community where Comcast has monopolized the cable and internet service.

Fixed wireless internet runs off the cell phone towers, and the internet gateway has to compete with all the traffic on the network, which will vary at different times. If the towers in your area regularly get a lot of traffic (congestion), then your data speeds are going to slow down.
