Verizon’s AppleONE Perk: how does it work if I already have AppleTV and cloud storage?

I’m intrigued by Verizon’s new AppleONE perks, but have some questions/cincerns. Anyone have a solid understanding of these perks? Here are a couple of my questions:

• I already paid for a year of AppleTV; is Apple providing the perk so I might get my money credited back? Or is it a lost cause, making the deal no good
  
• If I get the family plan, can my partner, who lives in another county. be one of my 5 AppleTV users? Or must all 5 users reside in the same home? If I get the individual plan, with one user, am I limited to one device too?
  
• does the cloud storage in the package take precedence over the cloud storage I already have, or is it in addition to what I’ve got? If the former, can I just deny that perk?
  
• How good is Verizon about delivering on perks, especially when they are packages such as this one from Apple? Who actually delivers the goods—Verizon or Apple?
  
• any answers, guidance, experiences would be appreciated!!

The perks, unless they are Verizon-specific such as international service plans or Verizon-branded apps, are all run by 3rd parties. For Apple subscriptions, they are being run by Apple or whatever company Apple is using to provide the service. However, Apple (and many other streaming service providers) do offer their streaming/etc. services through phone companies and let people pay the bill through their phone company.

If you have Apple streaming, etc. independently and already paid for a subscription through that independent account, then you'd have to ask Apple if you can be refunded if you decide to sign up for AppleOne through Verizon. I would have thought you'd have to cancel your existing subscription before getting AppleOne, but Verizon's website says an existing outside subscription will be suspended if you sign up for AppleOne on Verizon. If you cancel AppleOne, then your previous outside subscription kicks back in. If it were me, I'd verify with Apple to prevent being double billed and also for how family sharing works. As for how well subscriptions for perks through Verizon work, I haven't heard of problems with the Apple add-ons for people who have a current service plan. It's the folks who are on old plans not available anymore to incoming customers who may or may not experience problems. One thing to consider is if you ever decide to change carriers, make sure you cancel your perks before leaving, otherwise your perks could be "orphaned" and canceling them after the fact in a Verizon account which doesn't really "work" anymore can be difficult.
