Line suspension

I've already used the once in a 12 month period suspension for my husband's phone. He misplaced his phone today at work so I tried going online to suspend his phone until we either find it or figure out the next step, but because I used the one suspension already, it's not allowing me to do so on the app. Does anyone know another way to suspend his line? Also, when I googled the same question, it said instead of choosing "lost or stolen", choose "other", but I'm only given 2 options- lost or stolen and military. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

There were some changes made recently to the line suspension option. I want to say you have to get someone with Verizon to do a suspension now, in which case I'd try using live chat on the app to see if a CSR can do anything. The CSRs aren't able to use these forums for now.

As for the lost phone, you could remotely lock the phone by using the "find my" app specific to either Android or Apple. This will keep someone else from using the phone, and as a last resort, you can remotely factory reset the lost phone if it can't be found or has been stolen.
