Reconnecting

Question

My service was suspended because I moved my Sims card to a new phone I got and idk how to reconnect my service everything I log into my Verizon and press the reconnect service option it just tells me to go to chat and then the chat tells me nothing. Help

I've heard of this happening before with prepaid customers.  The "activate or switch device" thing in My Verizon doesn't work for us prepaid customers.  One person said they always had to go to a store for the employees to manually do the device swap.  Or you can try calling Prepaid CS at

Hours:

8 AM - 7 PM CDT (Mon - Sat)

8 AM - 5 PM CDT (Sun)

and see if they can do the swap over the phone.  BTW Verizon no longer supports moving a SIM card from one device to another.  Someone said last year when they tried it, their new phone got "broken" and it was a mess to straighten things out.  If your new phone does not do eSIM, SIM cards are free at all corporate Verizon stores.  The 3rd party stores don't necessarily stock SIM cards.
