There is a growing community of users that are setting up home networks. I personally have been getting into Unifi, with a router like the UDR 7 things work great.
Right now there are a lot of users that suggest having a failover setup. Now there are things like a Unifi 5G Backup (U5G). That said, I think it makes sense that Verizon can take this opportunity to grab some of this market away from T-Mobile or Starlink.
If I'm subscribed to Fios and want to set up a RedCap backup for when or if my internet goes down. Wouldn't it make sense if Verizon 5G would be what I'd use as a failover.
It would be a nice perk of Fios if they were to include a failover 5G protection to cover when the internet goes down. Saying loud and clear that they are confident that Fios has you covered and we back it by giving failover protection included in the monthly plan payments.
Ideally it would be nice to maybe work with Unifi and make a variant of the Dream Router 5G Max (UDR-5G-Max). Where it would be Dream Router w/ 5G RedCap built in for failover.
