Hi, I'm trying to install the SUA/SRA (Software Upgrade Assistant/Software Repair Assistant) for Samsung phones/devices on my Mac but the latest version available online is not compatible with the latest version of Mac OS. Sucks….
Anybody able to get a newer update? Or get this version to work with Tahoe?
How can I report this to both Verizon and Samsung to maybe expedite the release of a new update?
The reason I have been trying to use the SUA is because I am afraid that maybe I am somehow getting malware or infected versions of OTA updates. I fear that these infected OTA updates may be opening up my phone to spying, data leaking, key logging, etc. I'm unsure if any of this is true, but it is something I am paranoid about.
Anybody have any opinions about that? I presume, it's likely not possible as the OTA updates come direct from Verizon or Samsung, so, how could they be infected. If that's the case, then I am likely paranoid for no reason and should likely continue to update as usual. Just wanted to see how other peeps felt.
I also thought that maybe using the SUA I would be able to install other updates or what? What's the point exactly? Let's say someone is interfering with my traffic and then ingesting an. infected piece of update for me to download and install, then theoretically if I remove the internet portion of the updating I should be okay.
Thanks!
