I've noticed I'm not receiving email notifications for the topic areas I'm following. For example, https://community.verizon.com/categories/home-internet , https://community.verizon.com/categories/cl-feedback , and https://community.verizon.com/categories/community-leaders-lounge . I have all the boxes checked on each of those areas. I get the notifications when I log in, but I haven't gotten a single email. The email address on my profile (cap@pcweenie.com) appears to be correct.
This was happening to me and another forum member when the Vanilla forums came online for regular members . I wasn't yet a CL at the time, but the admins were saying it was an issue with having a Microsoft based email address, because both me and the other member had that kind of email account. It got fixed for us, but took a while. Sometimes the forum notification emails are still a little delayed. I am guessing there's a disconnect between the forum notifications and your email domain.
The 4 of us who tried to join the conference call at the end of June were discussing this, And three of us who were CL all mentioned having the same problem and not being able to figure out why.
@tns2 Wow. That's unfortunate. I'm wondering if this is part of the reason why the forums are closing, because the assorted issues with the migration to Vanilla either can't be resolved or it's too much trouble. And you've lost your CL badge among other things…happened to me briefly too. ☹️
