Forwarding only busy/ignored calls

Is there a way to set my phone to call forward only busy calls (i.e. but not unanswered calls)? I want to only forward calls when I hit Ignore, or when I'm on the phone already but not forward unanswered calls. I've seen mixed signals on whether or not this is possible. I've already tried *90 and it beeps like it's going to work, but doesn't actually forward calls anywhere. Thanks!

Good morning.

The Call Forwarding features we have are [Immediate Call Forwarding], which will forward all of your calls, and [No Answer/ Busy Transfer], which will forward calls only if your line is busy or you do not answer. There is not a way to forward busy calls only. Below I have provided you with the steps to enable and disable these features.

Immediate Call Forwarding:

Dial *72 then the 10-digit phone number.
Press Send and wait for confirmation beeps / message.
Press End

No Answer / Busy Transfer:

Dial *71 then the 10-digit phone number.
Press Send and wait for confirmation beeps / message.
Press End

Disable Call Forwarding, (either option above):

Dial *73.
Press Send and wait for confirmation beeps / message.
Press End

What happens to forwarded calls that are not answered? Do they bounce back to my verizon voicemail?

They'll go to the voicemail/answering machine/etc of whatever phone you forwarded the call to.

Now the real question, and one I don't know the answer to, is if you have CCF set up on Phone A forwarding to phone B, and CCF on phone B forwarding to Phone A, does an unanswered caller have infinite rings or does it eventually just boot them out or what happens? >_>
