Lg Ally and syncing Facebook contacts

I have the LG Ally and LOVE IT! My question was , is there a way to sync my Facebook Contacts to my phone. So that it uses their page photo and inputs any other info. My phone seems to input things from Twitter but not Facebook. Am I doing something wrong??? Thanks

Hi. I understand that you want to sync your facebook contacts to your phone and I will be happy to show you how. I am glad you love your phone! From the homescreen, go to your menu-settings-Accounts and Sync and then click on "Add Account". It should then give you the option to choose facebook to sync your information.

I have tried this... I also rebooted my phone and all and sit it will not sync with facebook, It lets me add the account login then it does not appear on my accounts and doesn't sync at all.

I have the same problem. When I try to add Facebook to the account sync menu, I get a white screen for about half a second and then it goes back to the sync settings menu. I'm able to use the Socialite app to get my FB contacts to sync, but I'd rather just use vanilla FB. Same problem here with my husbands phone. We've tried hard reset, logging out of FB, also tried using socialite - none of which work. He cannot get pictures to sync with his contacts. Would appreciate a fix! Thanks!
