Facetime: I can see them but they can't see me

Weird weird weird! First of all Facetime is fully activated, no issues there.

Using Facetime with the iPhone: I can see and hear the other person and I can see a little image of myself in the corner. Other person can hear me but CANNOT see me.

Using Facetime from my Macbook, calling the same person and using my same Wifi network: I can see the other person and the image of myself. The other person CAN see and hear me.

I tried calling two separate people (who are on different Wifi networks); same result.

Tried changing between front and rear facing cameras on the phone, made no difference. Like I said, I can see myself, so I know the camera works (plus I've used both cameras in other capacities w/o issue.) All I can think is that the phone's ability to send/upload data over Wifi is in some way limited.

Has anyone had any similar issues, or have any suggestions? Is there a way to test the phone's upload ability/speed? I'm about ready to make the long trip to the Apple store this weekend if need be.

If anyone ever comes across this and has the same issue, here's what I did to fix it:

 

My Linksys router has a Network Mode setting, and I had to change it from "Mixed" to "Wireless-G only".  (I would've used N but one of the NICs in my house is too old to support it.)  Anyway, after making this change, Facetime works fine on the phone.  Hope this helps someone else!
