i have reset my "network settings" and powered down twice.

There's another thread on this saying that Verizon cannot help our problem and the only thing they can do is send us another phone. Possibly we might have a faulty product. I'm going try and call them when I get home and see what they can do. I will be very disappointed if they cannot do anything and will have to send me a new phone. I don't want to have to wait for it to get mailed to me because I need my phone for work and school purposes. Anyways, I hope they'll be able to help you out. Best advice is to just call tech support.
If you are near an Apple store you will be able to get a replacement on the spot if they determine that a replacement is needed. Not sure if the VZW stores will do the same. Sorry some of you are having issues but hopefully it will be something that can be fixed soon.
Hello nikblondiew,
If you are still having this issue, please send me a private message with a contact number & I can walk you through activating your iphone.
Thank you...
Have you tried holding the sleep button and the home button at the same time for 5 sec until the device resets. Also you can try turning on data roaming and you can *228 option 1 to reactivate
I had the same issue start yesterday and this morning I did the *228, then 1 to reactivate the phone. After a few minutes, it found a tower and my data connection has been restored.
