I thought the Milestone was the European version of the Moto Droid? They look like they have the same form factor.
The previous poster is correct. The Milestone is the European version of the Droid. There do appear to be some small differences in the operating system
the HUGE difference is that MIlestone is a global phone and DRIOD is US only. That fact alone is the reason I can't fire ATT and my iPhone. The second I can use Milestone I will switch.
BTW - there are other significant differences like touchscreen capability etc...but no where near as big a deal as a US only phone versus a global phone.
I honestly have no idea why Verizon launched a non global phone in this space. Makes no sense to me.
Please....please...offer the Milestone in the US......
